Raw Sapphire Sandcast Ring. Made to Order.

Made to order specially for you in your ring size. These rings are some of my all time favorite pieces, and increasingly becoming your favorites too. They are incredibly raw, earthy, and imperfect. Each ring is hand-carved from wax, then cast into sand from reclaimed and recycled silver. Each sapphire is hand-picked by me from gravel from rock creek mine in MT, then cast in place.

**Your ring will look similar to this one, in width and general blue green yellow hues, but each with its own unique sized and colored stones and organic variation. Sand casting creates deep texture and variability between pieces. Some stones may have more or less silver covering them. While some chance is left to nature--the way the metal flows-- every ring is steadfast in its careful construction and the artist's intention.

.:. To be gentle on the planet, my pieces are made partially or entirely from reclaimed silver that has been melted down and hand-processed by me. Pieces ship in 100% recycled boxes, and all stones are either found, or sourced small and responsibly. This ring comes with a polishing cloth. This piece ships insured.

*Note* All of my pieces are entirely handmade, which gives them natural variation (even between an earring pair) and 100% uniqueness. The handmade nature of the piece also means that there will be natural imperfections. It is this quality that I think gives each piece character and depth. This style does not appeal to everyone, however. If you love rough-hewn, made-with-your-hands pieces then I feel confident that you will love the work you receive.
