Herkimer Drops- Goldfill Huggie Hoops

I am so excited about these sparkling drops. It was only a matter of time before herkimers made their way into my jewelry. 

Herkimer Diamonds were created about 500 million years ago, as a product of the shallow sea that was receiving sediments from the Adirondack mountains where I grew up. They are actually a double-terminated quartz, found naturally with these beautiful facets. They are only found in Herkimer County, New York. 

If you are interested in the metaphysical properties of gemstones, Herkimer diamonds are known to amplify energy and promote spiritual growth and manifestation.

I am enamored with their beauty, geologic history and metaphysical properties.
